One of the tasks we set ourselves was to revise our mission statement to be more focused – perhaps even setting out a commitment to a specific social and/or environmental area. The problem we found, however, is that we’re committed to changing the world of business lock-stock and that means taking a broad approach to both social and environmental responsibility.
So, we’ve done two things. First, we have changed it to make our commitment to changing the business world clearer. Here is our new mission statement:
Combining excellent strategic communications support for the professional services with a commitment to changing the world of business through the delivery of advice focused on socially- and environmentally-responsible business practices.
And, second, to tackle this commitment head-on and to make sure we’re drawing attention to areas for consideration we’ve decided to focus our communications plan on a different social and environmental theme each month. We’ll share best practice, case studies and tips, with suggestions on applying these within professional services.
