Conducting a business and marketing audit
Designed for: In-house marketing teams – senior management
Duration: 4 x 1hr
In this series of four 1hr workshops (or one half day), Helen Foord will navigate the step-by-step process of implementing a successful marketing and business development audit. She will discuss the ways in which marketing and business development can work alongside partners and fee-earners, HR, finance and client care teams, as well as external PR and digital marketing agencies, to establish a ‘joined-up’ approach to strategic planning, measuring and reporting.
The Purpose Pathway: Starting your journey
Designed for: Law firm managers and partners
Duration: 3 x 1hr
In this series of one hour workshops, creator of The Purpose Pathway, Helen Foord, will examine three crucial terms: Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Responsibility and Purpose. She will provide practical examples of firms at different stages of their Purpose Pathway journey, as well as discussing common pitfalls, barriers to success and the questions firms need to consider if they want to deliver a more purposeful service. This workshop will take a holistic approach, combining presented training with practical exercises.

In this one hour workshop, experienced law firm Marketing Director, Helen Foord will take you through her tried and tested process for taking a step back and building your marketing team for whatever the new future will involve.
Finding your tone of voice
Designed for: In-house marketing teams
In this one hour workshop Helen Foord will take you through the process of establishing a tone of voice – covering target audience personas, communication touch points, communicating feelings/emotions/values, calls-to-action, engaging with your audience, key words, testing your tone of voice and adapting it for different audiences and forms of communication.
Copywriting 101 – developing your skills
Designed for: In-house marketing teams
In this two hour workshop experienced copywriter, Helen Foord, will take you through the basics of copywriting – including agreeing your tone of voice, linking words to values and strategic objectives, copywriting best practise and adapting copy for on- and off-line formats. Helen will also touch on how brief external copywriters to get the most out of your budget.
Real world impact in annual reporting
Designed for: Partners and in-house marketing managers
In this one-hour session, creator of The Purpose Pathway, Helen Foord, will take you through the background to impact reporting, the Triple Bottom Line, and best practice for ‘real world’ annual reporting. Drawing on examples from across the legal sector and wider B Corp world, Helen will not only explain how it can be done but the benefits for clients and internal communications.
